Vijaya college library came into existence when the college was started in the year 1963-64 till 1966, college library & reading room were housed in the ‘Sudheendra Theertha Hall’ in the old building.

The college acquired a plot of land by the side of kotekeri road for construction’s of a new building block in the year 1972.It is located in an independent  building with area of 45983.4sq. ft. The library has spacious reading room with 100 seating capacity and the books are stocked in the ground floor. The college has lagre collection of  books, related to all subjects & general knowledge. A separate virtual library with uninterrupted internal facility available. Library is managed by qualified & explained staff.

VIJAYA COLLEGE MULKI
VODERBETTU SRINIVAS KAMATH LIBRARY

Vijaya College Library came into existence when the college was started in the year 1963-64. Mr.S.Mohan Rao was the first librarian. Till 1966, College Library & reading room were housed in the Sudheendra Theertha Hall in the old building. Since Voderbettu Srinivas Kamath family donated Rs.25,000.00 to the library, it was renamed as “ Voderbettu Srinivas Kamath Library”. The College acquired a plot of land by the side of the Kotekeri road for construction of a new library block in the year 1972.
The library has a collection of 80,000 volumes including PUC books. It subscribes about 32 magazines & journals of different periodicity. The particular of all the books can be retrieved by the help of computer software.
Library is housed in three storied building. The reference hall, which is a well-furnished spacious hall, has 100 students seating capacity.

LIBRARY HOURS:

Library is kept open on all working days except general holidays. Working hours is as follows:

  • Regular Days 8.30 A.M Hrs to 5.00 P.M
  • Saturdays 8.30 A.M Hrs to 1.00 P.M
